GOMIN GM-015860 Fluorocarbon (FEVE) Topcoat
Two-Component Crosslinking Fluorocarbon Coating for Ultra-High Weatherability & Chemical Resistance
GM-015860 is a premium two-component crosslinking fluorocarbon coating built on FEVE resin — an alternating copolymer of chlorotrifluoroethylene and vinyl ester — combined with environmentally friendly solvents and a dedicated fluorocarbon curing agent. Mixed at a ratio of base : curing agent = 5 : 1 (with appropriate thinner), it forms a dense, crosslinked fluorocarbon film engineered for structures that must stay beautiful and protected for decades.
With an artificial accelerated aging test record exceeding 3,000 hours, GM-015860 delivers no early yellowing, long retention of initial gloss and color, outstanding water resistance, excellent chemical resistance, strong adhesion and superior easy-clean properties — on concrete, calcium silicate boards, copper doors, aluminum alloys, large steel structures, bridge projects, ships, wind turbine towers and photovoltaic equipment.
Why Choose GM-015860 FEVE Topcoat
3,000 h Accelerated Weathering
Passed artificial accelerated aging beyond 3,000 hours with no blistering, peeling, cracking or chalking. White films retain over 80% of initial gloss (ΔE* ≤ 3.0).
Acid & Alkali Resistance
168 h immersion in 50 g/L H2SO4 and 240 h in saturated Ca(OH)2 solution with no abnormality — engineered for aggressive industrial and marine atmospheres.
Outstanding Water Resistance
168 h water resistance test with no abnormality. The dense fluorocarbon film blocks moisture ingress and protects steel and concrete substrates year after year.
Superior Easy-Clean Surface
Low-surface-energy fluorocarbon film releases dust, grime and graffiti residues — ideal for curtain walls, viaducts and heritage facades that must stay clean with minimal maintenance.
2H Hardness, 2 mm Flexibility
Pencil hardness of 2H combined with a 2 mm bending test result delivers a film that is both scratch-resistant and flexible enough to follow structural movement.
Strong Adhesion, No Early Yellowing
22% fluorine content in the binder locks in color and gloss, while strong crosslink adhesion keeps the film intact on aluminum, steel, copper and inorganic substrates.

Application Instructions
Mixing
Thoroughly stir the base component before use, add the curing agent in the specified ratio (base : curing agent = 5 : 1), and mix again until uniform.
Pot Life
After mixing at 25 °C, use within 4 hours. Higher temperatures shorten the pot life.
Thinning
May be diluted to application viscosity with the recommended thinner. Avoid over-dilution.
Application Conditions
Substrate temperature must be at least 3 °C above the dew point; relative humidity below 85%.
Curing Agent Protection & Tool Cleaning
Seal the curing agent container immediately after opening to prevent moisture ingress and gelling. Clean tools promptly with thinner after use.
Packaging, Storage & Shelf Life

| GM-015860 Part B (Curing agent) | 4 kg / barrel |
| Storage Temperature | 5–35 °C (avoid freezing and direct sunlight) |
| Storage Requirements | Cool, ventilated place; containers tightly sealed, away from heat and ignition sources |
| Shelf Life | 1 year from production date (unopened) |
Safety Protection
- Contains organic solvents; wear masks, gloves, goggles and other protective equipment during application.
- Avoid skin contact and inhalation of solvent vapors. If paint contacts skin, wash immediately with water or a suitable cleaner.
- If splashed into eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
- Do not swallow. If ingested, seek medical attention immediately.
- Waste paint, wastewater and residues must be disposed of by professional agencies in compliance with local environmental regulations.
Frequently Asked Questions
What substrates can GM-015860 be applied to?
The coating bonds strongly to inorganic surfaces such as concrete and calcium silicate boards, as well as copper doors, aluminum alloys and large steel structures — making it a versatile topcoat for facades, bridges, ships, wind turbine towers and photovoltaic equipment.
How is the two-component coating mixed and used?
Mix base and curing agent at a ratio of 5 : 1 with appropriate thinner, stirring the base thoroughly first. Once mixed at 25 °C, apply the material within 4 hours, as elevated temperatures shorten the pot life.
How does the coating perform against acids and alkalis?
GM-015860 shows no abnormality after 168 h immersion in 50 g/L sulfuric acid and 240 h in saturated calcium hydroxide solution, confirming its resistance to acidic industrial atmospheres and alkaline concrete substrates.
What gloss and color retention can be expected?
In the 3,000 h artificial accelerated weathering test, white films show ΔE* ≤ 3.0 with over 80% gloss retention; other colors show ΔE* ≤ 6.0 (or as agreed) with at least 50% gloss retention — with no blistering, peeling, cracking or chalking.
What coverage does one kilogram provide?
Theoretical coverage is approximately 5 m² per kilogram, depending on substrate roughness, application method and required dry film thickness.
