Production Process

Aerogel Coating Design & manufacturing

The design and manufacturing process of aerogel coating mainly involves the following steps

Design

Formulation and coating structure design based on application requirements (such as thermal insulation performance, substrate type, and construction conditions), determining aerogel content, thickness, and functional layering.

Material selection

Select suitable nano-aerogel particles, binders, additives, etc., ensuring materials possess low thermal conductivity, hydrophobicity, fire resistance, and adhesion to substrates.

Slurry Preparation

Uniformly mix aerogel with polymer base materials, dispersants, and stabilizers in specialized equipment to form a stable, workable slurry system.

step 4

Coating and Forming

Apply the slurry to the substrate surface via spraying, blade coating, or roller coating, controlling coating thickness and uniformity. The coating is then dried or cured to form a porous insulation layer.

step 5

Quality control

Test the finished product for thermal conductivity, adhesion, weather resistance, fire rating, and other performance indicators to ensure compliance with design standards and application requirements.
